Wizarding Wednesday

Wizarding Wednesday

If any of you aren’t familiar with Timothy Winchester, then you are probably feeling quite concerned for me now, wondering what on earth I would be writing a blog about regarding ‘Wizarding Wednesday’.

For those who don’t know, Timothy is a very talented guy who creates a fantastic daily web comic called People I Know. It involves everything from dinosaurs to monsters and even celebrities such as Lady Gaga, (who could probably fall under the monsters category, right?).

This brings me to ‘Wizarding Wednesday’… As you may have now guessed, every Wednesday Timothy produces his web-comic themed around wizards. This weeks comic is no normal post though, as throughout this week it includes something a little bit special.

A few weeks ago, Timothy asked the people of Twitter and readers of his blog to submit their own interpretations of wizards to him for him to include in a little gallery.

So to cut a long story short, here are my submissions. As you can see, both are in fact the same illustration, though the first one is a version I have treated with a series of textures, whereas the other one is the original vector illustration.

I hope you like these, I would love to hear your thoughts on which style you preferred.

Before I forget, Timothy is also at this weekends MCM Expo in London (27th-29th May) and so if you are going, make sure you drop by and purchase some of his comics.

Hello…

Welcome to my deepest, darkest thoughts and creations… Well, actually it is just my blog, but you know what I mean.

I will be regularly updating my blog (*cough* maybe) with sketches, doodles and any exciting news that comes my way.

The chance are that the cartoons will more often than not be inappropriate and childish, but to be honest that is what I love about what I do – I get to create these crazy little worlds where I can entertain myself and hopefully you all too.

Thanks for dropping by. If you have enjoyed my work, why not leave a comment…
